Welcome to the website of the Local Tourist Organization "Southern Masuria" in Pisz
The Pisz Land is the most beautiful part of the Southern Masuria. It is here that you can find the Pisz Wilderness – the largest forest complex in Poland and the second largest in Europe as well as Śniardwy Lake – the biggest lake in Masuria, also referred to as the Masurian Sea.
There are 4 communes within the Pisz Land: Pisz, Ruciane Nida, Biała Piska and Orzysz. The region is scarcely populated, the inhabitants earn their living from agriculture and tourism. The lack of industry, large forest and agricultural areas guarantee clean air, peace and contact with nature. All year round hospitable hosts offer the guests who visit our region excellent accommodation base, home cuisine and peace.
Tourist, cycling, hiking and kayak routes, sailing and windsurfing schools, yacht marinas, lakeside and riverside campsites, stud farms, landmarks and interesting events will surely make your stay at the Pisz Land more attractive.
